1. Setup Guide

This section provides instructions for the initial setup of your NEWQ 360° Rotating USB C Docking Station. The docking station is designed for ease of use and quick deployment.

1.1 Unboxing

Carefully remove the docking station and its accessories from the packaging. The packaging is designed for easy access to the product.

1.2 Connecting to Your Device

1. Locate the included USB-C to USB-C cable. This high-powered cable is designed to deliver sufficient power and data transfer for all connected components.
2. Connect one end of the USB-C cable to the 'HOST' port on the docking station.
3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the USB-C port on your compatible device (e.g., iPad, tablet, laptop, gaming console).
4. For optimal performance, ensure your device and power adapter (if using one) can supply adequate power. The dock itself consumes approximately 8W of power when operating with all ports in use.

2.1 Port Functions

• HDMI (4K@60Hz): Connect to an external monitor, projector, or TV for high-resolution video output.
• Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45): Provides a stable and fast wired network connection up to 1000Mbps.
• SD/TF 4.0 Reader: High-speed card readers supporting up to 300Mbps transfer speed, approximately 3 times faster than SD3.0. Ensure your SD card supports high-speed transfer for optimal performance.
• USB-A 3.0 (1 port): For high-speed data transfer up to 5Gbps, suitable for external hard drives, USB flash drives, etc.
• USB-A 2.0 (2 ports): For connecting peripherals like keyboards, mice, and other standard USB devices.
• USB-C 3.0 (1 port): Supports data transfer and can also be used with Type-C headphones.
