3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The LeapFrog ABC and 123 Laptop requires 4 AA batteries. Batteries are included for demonstration purposes, but new batteries are recommended for regular use.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the laptop.
  2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover and remove the cover.
  3. Insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw.

3.2 Power On/Off

To turn the laptop on, press the Power button located on the top left of the keyboard. To turn it off, press and hold the Power button until the screen goes dark.
