2. Safety Information

Read all instructions carefully before using the scale. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the equipment.

  • Maximum Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weighing capacity of 2200 lbs (1000 kg). Overloading can damage the scale and create a safety hazard.
  • Secure Attachment: Always ensure the scale is securely attached to a stable overhead support and that the load is properly secured to the hook before weighing.
  • Inspect Before Use: Before each use, inspect the shackle, hook, and scale body for any signs of wear, damage, or deformation. Do not use if any damage is found.
  • Remote Control: Use the remote control for operation whenever possible to maintain a safe distance from heavy loads.
  • Battery Safety: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid using the scale in extreme temperatures, high humidity, or corrosive environments unless specifically rated for such conditions.
  • Children and Unauthorized Personnel: Keep the scale out of reach of children and ensure only trained personnel operate the device.
