6. Cookware Compatibility
Induction cooktops work by generating a magnetic field that directly heats the cookware. Therefore, only cookware with a magnetic bottom is compatible.
- Compatible Cookware: Cast iron, steel, stainless steel (with magnetic base), enameled iron.
- Incompatible Cookware: Copper, ceramic, aluminum, glass, or cookware with an uneven bottom.
To test compatibility, place a small magnet on the bottom of your cookware. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is compatible.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your induction cooktop.
- Daily Cleaning: After the glass surface has cooled down, gently wipe it with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Stubborn Stains: For tougher stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for ceramic or glass cooktops.
- Avoid: Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or steam cleaners. Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Ventilation: Keep the air vents clean and free from obstructions to ensure proper cooling.
