Important Safeguards
When using your iron, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including:
- Read all instructions before using the iron.
- Use iron only for its intended use.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
- Always turn the iron to OFF before plugging or unplugging from the electrical outlet. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
- Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around iron when storing.
- Always disconnect iron from electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying, and when not in use.
- Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron; take it to a qualified serviceman for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause a risk of electric shock when the iron is used.
- Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not leave iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
- Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the reservoir.
Setup
Before first use, remove any labels or protective covers from the soleplate. It is recommended to iron an old piece of fabric to ensure no residue is left on the soleplate.
Filling the Water Tank
Ensure the iron is unplugged. Open the water fill cover located at the front of the iron. Fill the water tank with tap water up to the 'Max Fill' line. The anti-drip system helps prevent water leakage. Close the water fill cover securely.

Connecting to Power
Plug the iron into a standard electrical outlet. The 8-foot 360-degree swivel cord allows for freedom of movement during use.
Selecting Fabric Settings
Rotate the fabric selector dial to the desired setting (Linen, Cotton, Wool, Silk, Synthetic) based on the garment material. The iron will begin to heat up.
Operating Instructions
Basic Ironing
Once the iron reaches the selected temperature, the indicator light will turn off. The durable non-stick soleplate glides smoothly over fabrics, making ironing efficient.

Steam Ironing
For steam ironing, ensure the water tank is filled and the fabric setting is appropriate for steam (usually higher temperature settings). Use the steam control lever to adjust the steam output.
Shot of Steam Feature
Press the 'Shot of Steam' button for an extra burst of steam. This feature works both horizontally for flat surfaces and vertically for hanging garments, upholstery, or drapery.

Spray Mist Feature
Press the 'Spray Mist' button to release a fine mist of water, which helps to smooth out stubborn wrinkles. This is particularly useful for dry fabrics.

Auto Shut-Off
For added safety and peace of mind, the iron is equipped with a 3-way motion smart auto-off feature. It automatically shuts off if left unattended or set in an improper position.

Maintenance and Care
Cleaning the Soleplate
To clean the non-stick soleplate, ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Do not use harsh scouring pads or metallic cleaners as they can damage the surface.

Draining the Water Tank
After each use, or before storing, ensure the iron is unplugged and cool. Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup and leakage.
Storage
Store the iron upright on its heel rest to prevent soleplate damage. Ensure the cord is loosely wrapped around the cord wrap area.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Iron does not heat up. | Not plugged in; power outlet not working; auto shut-off activated. | Check power connection; test outlet; press 'Restart' button or move iron to reactivate. |
| No steam or insufficient steam. | Water tank empty; temperature too low for steam; steam vents clogged. | Fill water tank; select higher temperature setting; perform self-clean cycle. |
| Water leaks from soleplate. | Temperature too low for steam; water tank overfilled; anti-drip system not functioning. | Increase temperature setting; do not overfill water tank; ensure anti-drip system is clean. |
| Iron sticks to fabric. | Soleplate is dirty; incorrect temperature setting for fabric. | Clean soleplate; adjust temperature setting according to fabric type. |
