1. Introduction

This ultra-compact and portable device is designed for easy photo and video capture, offering high-resolution imaging even in low-light conditions. It can also function as a PC camera and a portable storage device. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper operation and to maximize the camera's performance.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

The camera has a built-in high-capacity lithium-polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the camera.

  1. Connect the camera to a computer's USB port or a USB wall adapter using the provided USB cable.
  2. The indication light will show charging status.
  3. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

4.2. Inserting the TF Card

A TF (MicroSD) card is required for storing photos and videos. The camera supports up to a 32GB TF card.

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the camera.
  2. Gently insert the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
  3. Important: If a TF card is not inserted, the camera will automatically power off after 15 seconds.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the On/Off key until the indication light illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the On/Off key until the indication light turns off.

5.2. Video Recording

The camera supports video resolution of 1280x960 or 720x480 at 30 frames per second (fps) in AVI format.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on and in video recording mode (refer to indication light status).
  2. Press the Function key once to start recording. The indication light will change to indicate recording is in progress.
  3. Press the Function key again to stop recording. The video file will be saved to the TF card.
  4. Note: Allow a brief moment for the file to save after stopping recording. Avoid pressing buttons repeatedly during this time to prevent file corruption.

5.3. Photo Capture

The camera captures images at a resolution of 1280x1024.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on and in photo capture mode.
  2. Press the Function key once to take a photo. The indication light may flash briefly.
  3. The image file will be saved to the TF card.

5.4. PC Camera Function (Webcam)

The camera can be used as a PC camera for video chat.

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable while the camera is powered off.
  2. The computer should recognize the camera as a webcam.
  3. Open your preferred video chat application and select the Andoer X6 as your camera device.

5.5. Data Transfer (U Disk Mode)

You can transfer files between the camera's TF card and your computer.

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable while the camera is powered off, in standby, or in video mode.
  2. The camera will be recognized as a removable disk (U disk) by your computer.
  3. You can now copy, cut, paste, or delete files from the TF card using your computer's file explorer.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the camera dry. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
  • Clean the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
  • Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the camera to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Camera turns off automatically after 15 seconds: Ensure a TF card is properly inserted into the camera.
  • Incorrect recording or incomplete files: When stopping recording, allow a brief moment for the file to save. Avoid pressing control buttons constantly during this saving process.
  • Camera not recognized by computer: Try connecting the camera while it is powered off. Ensure the USB cable is securely connected.
  • Poor image/video quality: Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges. Check lighting conditions; while the camera performs well in low light, extreme darkness will affect quality.
