What's in the Box
Upon unboxing your GEEKVAPE Aegis Legend 5 Kit, please verify that all the following components are included:

Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Aegis Legend 5 Mod requires two external 18650 batteries (not included).
- Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the mod.
- Insert two 18650 batteries according to the correct polarity markings (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Coil Installation
- Unscrew the base of the Z Sub Ohm Tank 5.
- Push the coil into the designated slot in the tank base. Ensure it is firmly seated.
- Reattach the tank base to the tank.
3. Filling the Tank
- Push the top cap of the Z Sub Ohm Tank 5 to open the filling port.
- Insert the e-liquid bottle nozzle into the filling port and fill the tank. Do not overfill.
- Close the top cap securely.
- After filling, wait at least 5 minutes for the coil to become fully saturated with e-liquid before first use. This prevents dry hits and extends coil life.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press the fire button 5 times rapidly.
- To turn off: Press the fire button 5 times rapidly. The screen will display "Power Off".
Mode Selection
The Aegis Legend 5 offers multiple operating modes. Press the fire button 3 times rapidly to enter the mode selection menu. Use the adjustment buttons (+/-) to navigate and the fire button to confirm.
- Smart Mode: Automatically sets optimal power based on tank resistance.
- Normal Mode: Balances flavor and battery life based on resistance.
- Eco Mode: Minimizes power consumption based on tank resistance for extended battery life.
- Custom Mode: Allows full manual power adjustment, resistance is irrelevant.
- TC (Temperature Control) Mode: Temperature-defined output, resistance is irrelevant.

A-Lock Function
The A-Lock switch, located on the side of the mod, allows you to instantly lock all buttons to prevent accidental firing or setting changes. Slide the switch up to lock and down to unlock.

Screen Display
The 1.08-inch TFT color screen displays essential information such as wattage, battery level, coil resistance, and puff count. The dynamic light strip provides additional visual feedback.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Regularly clean the 510 connection on the mod and the tank base with a dry cloth to ensure good conductivity.
- If e-liquid accumulates, gently wipe it away.
- The tank can be disassembled and rinsed with warm water (without the coil) to remove e-liquid residue. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly.
Coil Replacement
Coils are consumable parts and should be replaced when you notice a burnt taste, reduced vapor production, or diminished flavor.
- Ensure the tank is empty or nearly empty of e-liquid.
- Unscrew the base of the Z Sub Ohm Tank 5.
- Pull out the old coil from the tank base.
- Push a new coil firmly into the slot.
- Reattach the tank base and refill the tank. Remember to prime the new coil by waiting 5 minutes after filling.
Troubleshooting
