1. Introduction

The LIORQUE Wireless Weather Station is designed to provide accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with a weather forecast, barometric pressure display, and alarm clock functions. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new weather station.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

The weather station and outdoor sensor are battery-powered. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 AAA batteries.
2. Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 2 AAA batteries.
3. Close both battery compartments securely.

3.2 Sensor Pairing

The main unit will automatically attempt to connect with the outdoor sensor upon battery installation. If connection is not established, or if you are adding additional sensors (up to 3 supported):

• Ensure both the main unit and sensor have fresh batteries.
• Place the sensor within range of the main unit (up to 100m/328ft in open air).
• Press the 'CH' button on the main unit to cycle through channels if you have multiple sensors.
• The data will update every 30 seconds once connected.

The weather station supports up to three outdoor sensors, allowing for comprehensive monitoring across different locations within your home or property.

3.3 Outdoor Sensor Placement

For accurate readings and longevity of the outdoor sensor, consider the following:

• Avoid direct sunlight: Direct sunlight can cause inaccurate temperature readings.
• Protect from rain: While the sensor has an IPX4 waterproof rating, prolonged exposure to heavy rain should be avoided. Place it under an overhang or in a sheltered area.
• Optimal height: Approximately 2.5m (8.20ft) vertical height from the ground is recommended for best air circulation and representative readings.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display Overview

The 4.3-inch LCD screen displays various information clearly. Key indicators include:

• Indoor Temperature and Humidity
• Outdoor Temperature and Humidity (for selected channel)
• Weather Forecast Icons
• Barometric Pressure
• Time and Date
• Max/Min Records and Trends

4.2 Backlight Function

The weather station features an energy-saving backlight. To activate:

• Touch the 'Snooze/Brightness' button on the front of the unit.
