2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your Ninebot Mecha Kit for first use:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Initial Charging: The Mecha Kit has its own internal battery. Fully charge the Mecha Kit's battery using the provided charger before initial use. The kit typically arrives partially charged.
- Prepare Water Bullets: If using the shooting function, place the water bullets in water for approximately four hours to allow them to fully absorb water and expand.
- Attach to Ninebot S: Remove the knee bar from your Ninebot S self-balancing scooter. Align the Mecha Kit with the Ninebot S and securely fasten them together using the provided Velcro straps and specialized tools. Ensure a secure click is heard when attaching joystick arms.
- App Connection & Firmware Update: Download the official Segway-Ninebot app on your mobile device. Connect the Mecha Kit via Bluetooth. It is highly recommended to update the Ninebot S and Mecha Kit firmware to the latest version through the app for optimal performance and access to all features.

5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled and charged, you are ready to operate your Ninebot Mecha Kit:
- Joystick Control: The Mecha Kit is controlled using dual joysticks. Push both joysticks forward to move forward, and pull both backward to reverse. Steering is achieved by pushing one joystick forward while pulling the other backward, or by varying the forward/backward input on each joystick.
- Speed Modes: The Mecha Kit offers three speed modes: Safe Mode (3.7 mph), New Rider Mode (6 mph), and Sports Mode (8.7 mph). These modes can be selected via the mobile app. It is recommended to start with Safe Mode and gradually increase speed as you become more comfortable.
- Water Bullet Shooting: The Mecha Kit features a water bullet shooting mechanism. Load the prepared water bullets into the designated containers. Activate shooting via controls on the joysticks. The system includes lighting effects for enhanced play.
- Intelligent Robot Sound: The built-in intelligent robot sound provides phonetic tutorials for quick setup and also functions as a Bluetooth music playback system.
- Mobile App Integration: The Segway-Ninebot app allows for remote control, customization of lighting effects, tracking of rides, and configuration of various settings.

6. Maintenance
