5. Setup and Installation

Before proceeding, ensure your system is powered off and disconnected from the AC outlet. Refer to your computer case and motherboard manuals for specific installation instructions.

5.1 Preparing for Installation

1. Gather Components: Ensure you have the Phanteks Revolt PSU, your chosen modular cables (not included), mounting screws, and your computer case.

5.2 Installing the Power Supply

1. Mount the PSU: Carefully slide the Phanteks Revolt PSU into the designated power supply bay in your computer case. Secure it with the provided screws.
2. Connect Modular Cables: This PSU is fully modular. Connect only the necessary cables to the PSU's modular ports. Refer to the "Modular Cable Connectors" image in Section 4.2 for port identification.
   • Connect the 18+10pin cable to the motherboard.
