2. Battery Installation

The safe requires 4 AA batteries (not included) to power the digital keypad. Install them after the initial opening:

  3. Open the battery compartment cover.
  4. Insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Close the battery compartment cover.

3. Setting Your Passcode

It is crucial to set your personal passcode immediately after battery installation. Keep the safe door open during this process.

  1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the safe door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep.
  2. On the digital keypad, enter your desired 3-8 digit passcode.
  3. Press the "#" button to confirm. The LCD screen will display "DONE" and you will hear a confirmation beep.
  4. Test your new passcode with the door open before closing it. Enter your passcode, then press "#". The screen should display "OPEN". Rotate the handle to confirm the lock mechanism retracts.

Important: Do not close the safe door until you have successfully tested your new passcode multiple times.

4. Mounting the Safe (Optional, Recommended)

For maximum security, the safe can be mounted to a floor or wall. Mounting hardware is included.

  1. Choose a suitable location. Ensure the mounting surface (floor or wall) is structurally sound.
  2. Inside the safe, locate the pre-drilled mounting holes on the back and/or bottom.
  3. Position the safe and mark the drilling points on the mounting surface through the holes.
  4. Move the safe and drill pilot holes into the marked spots using an appropriate drill bit for your surface type.
  5. Reposition the safe, align the holes, and secure the safe using the provided expansion bolts and washers. Tighten firmly.

  4. Rotate the handle to open the safe.
  5. Replace the internal batteries immediately after opening.

4. Alarm System

The safe is equipped with an alarm system for added security:

  • Incorrect Entry Alarm: If an incorrect passcode is entered 3 consecutive times, the alarm will sound for a short period.
  • Vibration Alarm: The safe may also trigger an alarm if subjected to violent vibrations or tampering attempts.
  • To silence the alarm, enter the correct passcode or use an emergency key.

Maintenance

  2. Open the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
  3. Remove the old batteries.
  4. Insert 4 new AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover.

Note: Replacing batteries does not erase your set passcode.

2. Cleaning

To clean the exterior of your safe:

  • Use a soft, damp cloth.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
  • Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the keypad or lock mechanism.
