The Stealth JHT100 is a 32-inch tower PTC ceramic heater designed for efficient and quiet heating in various indoor spaces. It features multiple operating modes, a programmable timer, and advanced safety protections.

Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating this appliance.

  • Tip-Over Protection: The heater is equipped with an internal switch that automatically shuts off the unit if it is accidentally tipped over.
  • Overheat Protection: An integrated overheat sensor will automatically turn off the heater if it reaches an unsafe temperature.
  • V0 Flame Retardant Materials: Constructed with V0 flame retardant materials for enhanced safety.
  • Polarized Safety Plug: Features a polarized plug to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Always ensure the heater is placed on a firm, level surface.
  • Do not cover the heater or block its air inlets/outlets.
  • Keep flammable materials at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from the heater.
  • Do not use in wet or moist locations.

Upon unpacking, please ensure all items listed below are present and undamaged:

Setup

  1. Base Assembly:

    Align the two halves of the detachable base and snap them together. Ensure the power cord passes through the designated slot in the base. Secure the base to the bottom of the heater unit using the provided screws. This step is crucial for stability and safety.

  2. Remote Control Setup:

    The remote control comes with a plastic tab separating the battery from the contacts to preserve battery life. Gently pull out this plastic tab before first use. The remote requires a CR2025 lithium cell 3V battery.

  3. Power Connection:

    Plug the polarized power cord into a suitable 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is in good condition and not overloaded.

Operating Instructions

The Stealth JHT100 heater can be operated using the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

1. Power On/Off

  • Main Power Switch: Locate the main power switch at the back of the heater, near the base. Flip it to the "ON" position. A red indicator light will appear on the front display.
  • Unit Power Button: Press the Power button (Power button icon) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater on or off.

2. Heat Modes

The heater offers 4 modes: Low Heat (700W), High Heat (1500W), and Fan Only. The unit cycles through these modes with each press of the Mode button.

  • Press the Mode button (Mode button icon) to cycle through the available heating and fan modes. The red indicator light will adjust to reflect the selected mode (e.g., longer bar for higher heat).

3. Oscillation

Activate the 70° wide oscillation feature to distribute warmth evenly across a larger area.

  • Press the Oscillation button (Oscillation button icon) to start or stop the oscillation function.

4. Timer Function

Set a timer for automatic shut-off, ranging from 1 to 6 hours, in 1-hour increments.

  • Press the Timer button (Timer button icon) repeatedly to select the desired shut-off time (1H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H).
  • To cancel the timer, continue pressing the Timer button until no timer indicator is displayed, or press it a seventh time to cycle back to no timer.

5. Remote Control

The remote control duplicates all functions available on the unit's top control panel for convenient operation from a distance. Store the remote in the designated slot on the back of the heater when not in use to prevent misplacement.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

  • Cleaning the Air Filter: The heater features a removable and washable air filter located at the back. Periodically remove the filter and clean it with mild soap and warm water to prevent dust buildup and maintain air quality. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinserting.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Always unplug the heater from the power outlet before performing any cleaning or maintenance.

Troubleshooting

If your heater is not functioning as expected, please consult the following common issues and solutions:
