4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge your Skullcandy Terrain XL speaker. Connect the included USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port and the USB-A end to a compatible power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The LED indicators will show charging status.
4.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds until you hear an audible tone and the LED indicators illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds until you hear an audible tone and the LED indicators turn off.

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 1 meter of your device.
- The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode when powered on for the first time, indicated by a flashing blue LED. If already paired, it will attempt to reconnect to the last device. To manually enter pairing mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "Skullcandy Terrain XL" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

5.3 Multi-Link Pairing (Connect up to 99 Speakers)
The Multi-Link feature allows you to connect multiple Skullcandy Terrain speakers for a synchronized audio experience.
- Ensure all speakers are powered on and not currently paired to any device.
- Pair your primary Skullcandy Terrain XL speaker to your Bluetooth device as described in Section 5.1.
- On the primary speaker, short press the Multi-Link button. The LED will flash to indicate it's searching for other speakers.
- On each additional Skullcandy Terrain speaker you wish to link, short press the Multi-Link button.
- The speakers will automatically connect. A confirmation tone will sound, and the Multi-Link LED on all connected speakers will illuminate solid.
- To disconnect Multi-Link, short press the Multi-Link button on any connected speaker.

6. Charging
The Skullcandy Terrain XL speaker is equipped with an 18-hour battery. When the battery is low, the LED indicator will flash red. Connect the included USB-C to USB-A charging cable to the speaker's USB-C port and a power source. The LED indicators will show charging progress and turn off when fully charged.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
To clean your speaker, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the speaker's finish or internal components. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before cleaning or exposing to water.
