Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
- Connection Issues: Ensure the camera is connected via an Ethernet cable to your POE-enabled router or NVR.
- NVR/DVR Compatibility: This 5MP POE camera works with most NVR/DVRs, but not all.
- 2-Way Audio Not Working with NVR: Verify your NVR supports 2-way audio and check microphone and speaker settings in your NVR to ensure they are enabled.
- No Image on NVR: If the default setting is too high, change the video coding to H.264. If the issue persists, change the Sub stream to 640x480.
- Remote Viewing with NVR: If the POE camera is added to your NVR, you cannot remote view it on the CamHi/CamHipro app directly. Remote viewing will be managed through your NVR's system.
- App Compatibility: This SV3C HX series camera works with SV3C HiP2P PC software, browser view, CamHi, and CamHipro apps, as well as some other third-party software. It does NOT work with the Danale app.
- 2-Way Audio with Blue Iris/iSpy: 2-way audio functions with Blue Iris (ensure microphone and speaker settings are on) but does NOT work with iSpy.
- Browser Viewing: The camera supports HTML5, allowing direct viewing on Firefox, Google Chrome, or Edge via the camera's IP address without Flash or Active-X plugins.
