1. Product Overview
The EGO Power+ LT1000 Portable Area Light is designed to illuminate any environment with its versatile lighting options. It features 5 brightness settings, ranging from 600 to an impressive 10,000 lumens in Boost mode, providing natural white light at 4,500 Kelvin. 2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
To install the 56-Volt ARC Lithium™ battery (BA2800T or compatible EGO Power+ battery) into the LT1000 Portable Area Light:
- Ensure the light is powered off.
- Locate the battery slot on the base of the light.
- Align the battery with the slot and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
To remove the battery, press the battery release button and slide the battery out of the slot.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power button located on the control panel to turn the light on or off. The light will illuminate at the last active panel setting and brightness level.
3.2 Brightness Settings
The LT1000 offers 5 brightness levels, plus a Boost mode:
- Press the '+' button to increase brightness.
- Press the '-' button to decrease brightness.
- Hold the '+' button for approximately 3 seconds to activate Boost mode (10,000 lumens).
3.3 Panel Adjustment and Selection
The light features multiple adjustable panels for 360-degree illumination. Use the panel selection button to cycle between different panel configurations (e.g., one panel, two panels, all panels).

3.4 USB Charging Port
A USB-A port is integrated into the light's base, allowing you to charge compatible electronic devices using the power from the EGO battery.
3.5 Safety Features
The light is equipped with a safety mechanism that prevents it from turning on if the panels are fully closed. This ensures that the light is not accidentally activated during storage or transport.

7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Common Issues
- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly seated. Check that the light panels are not fully closed, as a safety feature prevents operation in this state.
- Reduced run time: Battery run time can be affected by ambient temperature and continuous use of Boost mode. In very hot environments, the light may automatically reduce brightness to prolong run time.
- USB port not charging: Ensure the battery has sufficient charge to power the light and provide output through the USB port.
