The Solac Niagara Pro Vertical Steam Iron is designed for quick and efficient garment care, allowing you to iron clothes directly on their hangers. Safety Instructions
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before filling or emptying the water tank, and before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- Do not touch the hot soleplate or steam nozzle during operation.
- Use only distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup.

Setup
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the steam iron for any signs of damage. Ensure all components are present: the main unit, water tank, lint brush accessory, and delicate fabric accessory.

2. Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
- Detach the water tank from the main unit. The tank is designed for easy removal.
- Open the water tank cap.
- Fill the 200ml water tank with distilled or demineralized water. Do not overfill beyond the MAX line.
- Close the cap securely and reattach the water tank to the main unit until it clicks into place.

3. Attaching Accessories
The steam iron comes with two accessories: a lint brush and a delicate fabric pad. These can be easily attached to the steam head by aligning them and pressing firmly until they click into position. Choose the appropriate accessory based on the fabric type.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Heating
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet. The indicator light will illuminate.
- The iron will heat up rapidly, becoming ready for use in approximately 25 seconds. The indicator light will change or stop blinking when ready.
2. Selecting Steam Mode
The Solac Niagara Pro offers two continuous steam modes: Eco and Max. Press the steam button to cycle between these modes, selecting the one suitable for your garment's needs.
3. Steaming Garments
Hold the steam iron vertically, keeping the soleplate a few centimeters away from the fabric. Press the steam trigger to release steam. Move the iron slowly over the garment, from top to bottom, to remove wrinkles. For best results, gently pull the fabric taut with your free hand.

The ceramic soleplate ensures ultra-smooth gliding, making it suitable for all types of garments, including delicate fabrics and curtains. The 2-meter cable provides ample freedom of movement.
4. Auto-Off Safety Feature
For your safety, the appliance is equipped with an automatic shut-off system. If left inactive for a certain period, the iron will automatically turn off. The indicator light will signal this status.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Appliance
- Always unplug the steam iron and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Clean the ceramic soleplate with a damp cloth. Do not use metallic or abrasive pads.
- Clean the accessories (lint brush, delicate fabric pad) as needed with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry.
2. Descaling
To maintain optimal performance and extend the life of your steam iron, regular descaling is recommended, especially if using tap water (though distilled water is preferred). Refer to the manufacturer's descaling solution instructions or use a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio). Run the solution through the steamer following the operating instructions, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
3. Storage
Store the cooled and emptied steam iron in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
