Wireless Connection (Bluetooth)

  1. Ensure your Wacom One tablet is charged or connected via USB-C initially.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your computer or Android device.
  3. Put the Wacom One tablet into pairing mode (refer to the device's quick start guide for specific button presses, usually a power button or dedicated Bluetooth button).
  4. On your computer or device, search for and select the Wacom One tablet from the list of available Bluetooth devices to pair.

2. Install Drivers and Software

For optimal performance and access to all features, it is recommended to install the latest drivers and register your product.

Operating Instructions

Using the Pen Tablet

The Wacom One tablet functions as a digital canvas or mouse replacement, allowing you to interact with your computer or device using the included pen.

  • Active Area: The tablet's active area (6.0” x 3.7”) corresponds to your screen. Moving the pen across the tablet surface moves the cursor on your display.
  • Hovering: Hold the pen slightly above the tablet surface to move the cursor without making contact. This is similar to moving a mouse.
  • Clicking: Tap the pen tip on the tablet surface to perform a left-click. For right-click or other functions, use the customizable pen buttons or configure tap gestures in the Wacom Tablet Properties.
  • Pressure Sensitivity: Apply varying pressure with the pen tip to control brush size, opacity, or other parameters in creative applications.
  • Tilt Detection: The pen supports tilt detection, allowing for natural brush strokes and shading effects in supported software.

Software Integration

The Wacom One tablet is compatible with a wide range of creative, educational, and productivity software. Examples include:

  • Utilize the Wacom Tablet Properties to customize pen functions and tablet settings for specific applications.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Tablet and Pen

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner to wipe the tablet surface and pen.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the surface.
  • Ensure the tablet and pen are completely dry before use.

Replacing Pen Nibs

Over time, the pen nib may wear down. Replace it with one of the included POM nibs for optimal performance.

  1. Gently pull the old nib straight out of the pen using the nib remover tool.
  2. Insert a new nib firmly into the pen until it clicks into place.
  3. Do not force the nib, as this may damage the pen.

Troubleshooting

Pen Not Responding

  • Check Driver Installation: Ensure the latest Wacom drivers are correctly installed. Reinstall if necessary.
  • Restart Device: Restart your computer or Android device.
  • Check Pen Nib: Ensure the pen nib is properly inserted and not excessively worn. Replace if needed.
  • Interference: Move away from other electronic devices that might cause electromagnetic interference.

Connectivity Issues

  • USB-C Connection: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the tablet and your device. Try a different USB-C port or cable if available.
  • Bluetooth Connection:
    • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
    • Ensure the tablet is in pairing mode or already paired.
    • Remove and re-pair the tablet from your device's Bluetooth settings.
    • Check the tablet's battery level if using Bluetooth (though the pen is battery-free, the tablet itself might have a small internal battery for Bluetooth).

Software Malfunctions

  • Update Software: Ensure your creative software and operating system are up to date.
  • Wacom Tablet Properties: Open Wacom Tablet Properties and check if the tablet is recognized and settings are correct. Reset to default settings if issues persist.
