4. Setup and Installation
The WB2F01 is designed for straightforward setup, often requiring no complex Graphical User Interface (GUI) configuration.
Powering the Devices
The devices support two power modes: active 24V PoE (Power over Ethernet) and DC power. Use the provided 24V PoE adapters to power the units via the Ethernet cable, simplifying outdoor installation.
Master/Slave Configuration
One unit acts as the Master Bridge, connecting to your main network (e.g., router, DVR). The other unit acts as the Slave Bridge, extending the network to remote devices (e.g., IP cameras).
- Master Bridge: Connects to your existing network.
- Slave Bridge: Connects to the remote devices that need network access.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WB2F01 Wireless Bridge, consider the following:
- No Connection/Unstable Connection:
- Ensure both Master and Slave units are correctly powered via PoE.
- Verify that the Master/Slave switch is set correctly on each unit.
- Confirm that the units are properly paired (press reset for 1 second for automatic pairing).
- Check the LED signal strength indicators; adjust alignment if necessary to improve signal.
- Adjust the RF power settings. Lower power might be needed in congested areas, higher power for longer distances.
- Network Attacks/Disruptions: The Wi-Fi Bridge is designed to automatically restart and recover devices when subjected to network attacks, ensuring continuous operation.
- IP Configuration: For advanced configurations or if you need to change IP settings, especially with non-standard operating systems like macOS, direct GUI access might be required. Refer to the full installation manual (PDF) for detailed instructions on accessing the device's web interface.
- Cloud Management: Utilize the cloud remote management feature to monitor device status, update firmware, restart, restore, and maintain devices remotely.
