5. Setup

5.1 Unfolding the Drone

5.2 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Drone Battery: Insert the fully charged Lithium Polymer battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks into place. To charge, connect the battery to the USB charging cable and plug it into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB adapter). The charging indicator will show status.
  2. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert 3 x AA batteries (not included), observing correct polarity. Close the compartment.

5.3 Propeller Installation

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Pairing the Drone and Remote Control

  1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the drone's power switch. The LED indicators will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote control.
  4. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's LEDs will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

6.2 Gyro Calibration

After pairing, perform gyro calibration for stable flight:

  • With the drone on a flat surface, push both joysticks down and to the right simultaneously for a few seconds.
  • The drone's lights will flash rapidly and then become solid, indicating successful calibration.

6.3 Takeoff and Landing

  • Manual Takeoff: Push both joysticks down and outwards to start the motors. Then, slowly push the left joystick up to ascend.
  • One-Key Takeoff: Press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button. The drone will automatically ascend to a stable height.
  • Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick down to descend. Once on the ground, pull the left joystick down and hold for 2-3 seconds to stop the motors.
  • One-Key Landing: Press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land.

6.4 Flight Controls

  • Altitude: Left joystick up/down.
  • Rotation (Yaw): Left joystick left/right.
  • Forward/Backward: Right joystick up/down.
  • Left/Right Sideways (Roll): Right joystick left/right.
  • Speed Adjustment: Press the Speed Switch button to cycle through low, medium, and high speeds.

  • 360° Flip: While flying, press the 360° Flip button, then push the right joystick in any direction to perform an aerial flip.
