This 4-inch slim wafer LED downlight features a 5CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) selectable switch, allowing you to choose between 2700K (Soft White), 3000K (Warm White), 3500K (Neutral White), 4000K (Cool White), and 5000K (Daylight). It is designed for easy, canless installation and offers superior brightness with energy efficiency.

2. Safety Information

5. Setup and Installation

This recessed light is designed for easy, canless installation. Follow these steps carefully.

Tools Required:

  • Hole Saw (recommended size: 4.35 inches)
  • Wire Strippers
  • Screwdriver
  • Safety Glasses and Gloves

Installation Steps:

  1. Turn off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
  2. Cut a Hole: Using a hole saw, cut a circular hole in the ceiling at the desired location. The advised hole cutout size is 4.35 inches.
  3. Open Junction Box: Open the cover of the provided junction box. Remove the appropriate knockout(s) for your wiring.
  4. Connect Wiring: Connect the house wiring (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using wire nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
  5. Close Junction Box: Securely close the junction box cover and place the box into the ceiling opening.
  6. Connect Light Panel: Connect the cable from the LED light panel to the junction box. Ensure the connection is firm.
  7. Mount Light: Push the spring clips on the sides of the LED light panel upwards and insert the light into the ceiling hole. Release the clips to secure the light flush against the ceiling.
  8. Restore Power: Once the light is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

Color Temperature Selection (5CCT)

Your Amico recessed light features a selectable color temperature switch located on the side of the junction box. Before final installation into the ceiling, select your desired color temperature:

  • 2700K: Soft White (Warm, inviting light, ideal for bedrooms)
  • 3000K: Warm White (Slightly less yellow than 2700K, good for living rooms and bathrooms)
  • 3500K: Neutral White (Balanced, natural light, suitable for offices and kitchens)
  • 4000K: Cool White (Brighter, more energetic light, often used in kitchens and task areas)
  • 5000K: Daylight (Brightest, crisp white light, excellent for workspaces and modern aesthetics)

Simply slide the switch to the desired Kelvin (K) setting. Once selected, you can proceed with mounting the light.

Dimming Functionality

This LED recessed light is dimmable from 5% to 100%. To utilize the dimming feature, ensure you have a compatible LED dimmer switch installed. Note: Smart dimmers are generally not recommended for optimal performance.
