2. Setup Instructions
2.1 Important Requirement: ZigBee Hub
This smart switch requires a Tuya ZigBee Gateway (hub) to operate correctly. It will not function as a standalone device. Ensure your Tuya ZigBee Gateway is properly set up and connected to your network via a WiFi router.
2.2 Pairing the Smart Switch
- Ensure your Tuya ZigBee Gateway is powered on and connected to the internet.
- Open the Smart Life or Tuya APP on your mobile device.
- In the APP, navigate to add a new device and select the ZigBee switch category.
- On the physical smart switch, press and hold button 1 for approximately 10 seconds. The LED indicator on the switch will begin to flash rapidly, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the Smart Life or Tuya APP to complete the pairing process.

3. Operating Instructions
The IHSENO Smart Switch allows you to control various smart devices and activate customized scenes through simple button presses. Each of the three buttons can be configured for up to three different scenarios.
3.1 Scene Mode Configuration
After connecting the switch to your ZigBee gateway and adding it to the Smart Life App, you can create and assign specific actions or scenes to each button's press type:
- Single Click: Activates the first assigned scene.
- Double Click: Activates the second assigned scene.
- Long Hold (5 seconds): Activates the third assigned scene.
These scenes can control individual ZigBee devices such as smart sockets, smart plugs, smart switches, and smart LED lights, or groups of devices to create specific home environments.

3.2 Voice Control Integration
The smart switch is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Once integrated with your smart home system, you can use voice commands to activate scenes or control connected devices, providing hands-free operation.
3.3 Example Scene Applications
- Wake-up Mode: Press the scene switch to activate a morning routine, such as gradually brightening lights or opening smart blinds.
- Home Mode: A single tap can turn on all desired lights, air conditioners, fans, and other electronic devices upon entering your home.
- Sleep Mode: Press the switch to turn off all your lights and prepare your home for sleep.
- Away Mode: A single key press can turn off all lights, air conditioners, fans, and other electronic devices when you leave for work.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The IHSENO Smart Switch is powered by a CR2032 button battery. When the battery level is low, the switch's performance may be affected. To replace the battery:
- Carefully open the battery compartment on the back of the switch.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
5. Troubleshooting
- Switch not responding: Ensure the battery is not depleted. Replace the CR2032 battery if necessary.
- Unable to pair with hub: Verify that your Tuya ZigBee Gateway is powered on, connected to the internet, and within range of the smart switch. Ensure the switch is in pairing mode (LED flashing rapidly).
- Scenes not activating: Check the Smart Life/Tuya APP to confirm that scenes are correctly configured and assigned to the button presses. Ensure all linked smart devices are online and functional.
- Compatibility: This switch is designed to work with a Tuya ZigBee Gateway and the Smart Life/Tuya APP. Compatibility with other ZigBee ecosystems (e.g., SmartThings) may vary and is not guaranteed.
