1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

• Avoid Touching Electrodes: Electronic rodent traps deliver an electric shock. Do not touch the electrode part of the trap while it is working to prevent electric shock injuries.
• Waterproof Precautions: The trap is rated IPX4, meaning it is protected from splashing water in any direction but not for submersion or use in standing water. For safe outdoor operation, always place the trap on a clean, dry, elevated surface. Inspect after rainfall to ensure cover integrity and dry conditions inside.

• Batteries: Insert 4 D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Each full set of batteries can provide power for up to approximately 60 activations.

4.2 Baiting the Trap

Place a small amount of high-protein bait, such as peanut butter or cheese, into the trap’s bait area. Access the bait area via the bait door and apply the bait with a toothpick or cotton swab to the floor, opposite the entrance. This minimizes human scent on the trap.
