2. Safety Information
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Setup
- Remove all packing materials from the coffee maker and frother.
- Place the coffee maker upright on a stable, flat surface.
- Plug the coffee maker into a grounded outlet.
4.2 Water Reservoir
The 42oz removable water reservoir allows for multiple brews between refills.
- Remove the water reservoir lid.
- Fill the reservoir with fresh, filtered water up to the MAX fill line.
- Replace the lid, ensuring it is securely seated.

4.3 Frother Setup
The included milk frother can create hot or cold frothed milk for your beverages.
- Ensure the frother is clean and dry before first use.
- Place the frother on a flat, stable surface near the coffee maker.
- Plug the frother into a separate grounded outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Brewing Hot Coffee
- Lift the handle and place a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder.
- Lower the handle completely to close the lid.
- Place a mug on the drip tray. For larger mugs, the drip tray can be removed.
- Select your desired brew size (8, 10, or 12 oz) from the buttons on the side. The selected button will illuminate.
- The brewer will begin dispensing coffee.

5.2 Brewing Iced Coffee
The Brew Over Ice feature automatically adjusts the brew temperature for optimal iced coffee flavor.
- Fill a tumbler with ice. Ensure the tumbler is large enough to accommodate the selected brew size.
- Place a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder and lower the handle.
- Place the tumbler on the drip tray.
- Press the "Brew Over Ice" button (indicated by an ice cube icon). The button will illuminate.
- The brewer will dispense iced coffee.

5.3 Using the Coffee Shot
The "Shot" button brews a concentrated 2oz coffee shot, ideal for specialty drinks like lattes and cappuccinos.
- Place a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder and lower the handle.
- Place a small mug or glass on the drip tray.
- Press the "Shot" button. The button will illuminate.
- The brewer will dispense a concentrated coffee shot.

5.4 Using the Milk Frother (Hot & Cold)
The frother allows you to create perfectly frothed milk for hot or cold beverages.
- Pour fresh milk or a dairy alternative (oat, almond, soy) into the frother. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Place the lid securely on the frother.
- To froth hot milk, press the button with the "SSS" (steam) icon. The light will turn red.
- To froth cold milk, press the button with the snowflake icon. The light will turn blue.
- The frother will automatically stop when the frothing cycle is complete.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1 Cleaning the Brewer
- Drip Tray: The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning. Simply slide it out, empty any liquid, and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Water Reservoir: The water reservoir can be removed and washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- K-Cup Pod Holder: The K-Cup pod holder can be removed for cleaning. Lift the handle, grasp the top of the K-Cup pod holder, and pull up. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the brewer with a damp cloth.

6.2 Cleaning the Frother
- Unplug the frother before cleaning.
- Remove the lid and the whisk from inside the frother.
- Wash the frother interior, lid, and whisk with warm, soapy water. The interior has a nonstick coating for easy cleaning.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts before reassembling.
6.3 Descaling
Over time, calcium deposits (scale) can build up in your coffee maker. The "Descale" indicator light will illuminate when descaling is required. Follow the descaling instructions provided in the full user manual (PDF) available on the product page or Keurig's official website.
