5. Installation
The Sunco LED Shop Light offers two primary installation methods: Surface Mount and Hanging Mount. Choose the method best suited for your application.
5.1. Surface Mount Installation
For a flush installation directly against a ceiling or wall surface.
- Mark Mounting Points: Use the fixture as a template to mark the desired screw locations on the mounting surface. Ensure these points align with the fixture's mounting holes.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. If mounting into drywall, insert the provided anchors.
- Secure Fixture: Align the fixture with the pilot holes/anchors and secure it using the provided screws.
- Connect Power: Plug the 5-foot power cord into a standard 120V outlet.

5.2. Hanging Mount Installation
For suspending the fixture from the ceiling using chains.
- Install Eye Hooks: Screw the provided eye hooks into a sturdy ceiling joist or appropriate anchor points. Ensure they are spaced correctly to support the fixture evenly.
- Attach Chains: Connect the mounting chains to the eye hooks and to the fixture's hanging points. Adjust chain length to achieve the desired height.
- Connect Power: Plug the 5-foot power cord into a standard 120V outlet.

5.3. Linkability (Daisy-Chain)
This LED shop light is designed for daisy-chaining, allowing you to connect up to 4 units from a single power source for extended lighting coverage.
- Connect First Fixture: Install the first fixture using either surface or hanging mount and connect its power cord to an outlet.
- Link Additional Fixtures: Use the provided linkable connectors to connect the output end of the first fixture to the input end of the second fixture. Repeat for up to 4 fixtures.
- Secure Linked Fixtures: Ensure all linked fixtures are securely mounted using the appropriate method.

6. Operation
To operate the Sunco LED Shop Light:
- Ensure the fixture is properly installed and connected to a power source.
- Pull the attached chain switch to turn the light ON or OFF.
7. Maintenance
The Sunco LED Shop Light requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Bulb Replacement: The LED tubes are integrated and not user-replaceable. The fixture has an average lifespan of 50,000 hours.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord and mounting hardware for any signs of damage or wear.
