Setup
Connecting the Mouse
- Locate an available USB port on your computer.
- Plug the USB connector of the Perixx PERIMICE-513W mouse into the USB port.
- The mouse is plug-and-play and does not require additional drivers for most operating systems. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
- Once installed, the mouse is ready for use.

Operating Instructions
Ergonomic Design
The PERIMICE-513W features a vertical, right-handed design engineered to promote a natural handshake position. This design helps prevent forearm twisting, reducing muscular strain and the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI) during extended use.

Button Functions
Your PERIMICE-513W mouse is equipped with 6 buttons for enhanced functionality:
- Left Click Button: Standard primary click function.
- Right Click Button: Standard secondary click function.
- Scroll Wheel: For vertical scrolling. Can also be pressed for middle-click functionality.
- DPI Switch Button: Adjusts cursor sensitivity (DPI).
- Page Back Button: Navigates back in web browsers or file explorers.
- Page Forward Button: Navigates forward in web browsers or file explorers.

DPI Adjustment
The DPI (Dots Per Inch) button allows you to change the tracking sensitivity of the mouse. This mouse offers two adjustable DPI settings: 1000 DPI and 1600 DPI. Press the DPI button located near the top of the mouse to cycle through these settings and find your preferred cursor speed.

Navigation Buttons
The dedicated Page Back and Page Forward buttons, conveniently located for thumb access, facilitate quick navigation through web pages, documents, and folders, enhancing productivity.

Maintenance
Cleaning Your Mouse
- Disconnect the mouse from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the surface of the mouse.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or spraying liquids directly onto the mouse.
- For the optical sensor, use a cotton swab to gently clean any dust or debris.
Storage
When not in use, store the mouse in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
- Mouse Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer.
- Try plugging the mouse into a different USB port.
- Restart your computer.
- Cursor Movement is Erratic or Slow:
- Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (e.g., a mouse pad).
- Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI button on the mouse.
- Check your computer's mouse settings for cursor speed adjustments.
- Side Buttons Not Working:
- Ensure your operating system and applications support the forward/back functions. Some applications may require specific configuration or may not support these buttons.
- For Mac OS users, some browsers (e.g., Safari) may not natively support these buttons, while others (e.g., Chrome, DuckDuckGo) might.
