4. Setup: Butane Refilling
The lighter is shipped without butane fuel for safety reasons. It must be refilled before first use.
- Use Quality Butane: Ensure you use a high-quality butane fuel. Low-quality butane can clog the lighter's jets.
- Vent Lighter: Before refilling, invert the lighter and use a small tool (like a pen tip) to press the refill valve to release any residual air or gas. This helps ensure a full fill.
- Refill: Invert the lighter and firmly press the nozzle of the butane canister into the refill valve at the bottom of the lighter. Hold for approximately 5-10 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times for a complete fill.
- Wait: After refilling, wait for at least 5 minutes before attempting to ignite the lighter. This allows the gas to stabilize and reach room temperature.
- Check Fuel Level: The integrated fuel window allows you to monitor the butane level.
Note: Butane is not included with the lighter.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Igniting the Flame

5.2 Using the V-Cigar Cutter
The lighter features a built-in V-cigar cutter, suitable for cigars up to 60mm ring gauge.
- Locate Cutter: The V-cutter is integrated into the body of the lighter.
- Prepare Cigar: Insert the cap of the cigar into the V-shaped opening of the cutter.
- Cut: Apply firm, steady pressure to push the cigar through the cutter. The sharp stainless steel blade will create a clean V-cut.
- Clean: After use, ensure any tobacco debris is cleared from the cutter mechanism.

5.3 Adjusting Flame Height
The flame height can be adjusted to suit your preference. The adjustment mechanism is typically located at the bottom of the lighter.
- Locate Adjustment Screw: Identify the small screw or dial at the base of the lighter.
- Adjust: Use a small screwdriver or a similar tool to turn the screw. Turn towards the '+' symbol for a higher flame, and towards the '-' symbol for a lower flame.
- Test: Ignite the lighter to check the flame height and adjust as needed.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the lighter body with a soft, dry cloth. For the jet nozzle, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol if residue builds up. Ensure the lighter is completely dry before use.
- Cutter Maintenance: Keep the V-cutter free of tobacco debris. A small brush can be used to clear any blockages.
- Storage: Store the lighter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure it is empty of fuel if storing for extended periods.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
