4. Setup

4.1 Initial Unlock

Before first use, the Oclip flashlight is in lockout mode to prevent accidental activation during shipping. To unlock the device, press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second. The light will briefly flash to indicate it is unlocked and ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions

The Oclip features a single button for all operations. The flashlight has a memory function, returning to the last used mode (except for special modes like strobe).

5.1 White Light Modes

• Turn On/Off: Single click the button.
• Change Brightness: When the white light is on, press and hold the button to cycle through Moonlight, Low, Medium, and High modes. Release the button to select the desired brightness.
• Moonlight Mode: From OFF, press and hold the button for approximately 1 second to directly access Moonlight mode (1.5 lumens).
• High Mode: Double click the button from any state to directly activate High mode (300 lumens). Double click again to return to the previous mode.

5.2 Red Light Modes

• Activate Red Light: From OFF, double click the button to activate the red light.
• Red Flashing Mode: When the red light is on, double click the button to switch to red flashing mode. Double click again to return to steady red light.
• Turn Off: Single click the button to turn off the red light.

• Lockout: When the light is ON, press and hold the button until the light turns off and then flashes briefly. The light is now in lockout mode.
• Unlock: From lockout mode, press and hold the button for approximately 1 second until the light turns on in Moonlight mode.

• Connect: Open the rubber cover of the USB-C port and connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight and a power source (e.g., laptop, wall adapter, power bank).

  • Green Indicator: Battery is fully charged (95% or above).
• Charging Time: A full charge typically takes approximately 1 hour.
