1. Setup
1.1 Package Contents
Ensure all items are present in the package:

1.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the recorder's USB-C port and the other end to a power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The device features a 300mAh rechargeable battery.
Note: A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides up to 35 hours of continuous recording (default settings) or up to 55 hours.
1.3 Powering On/Off
To power on the device, slide the power switch to the 'On' position. To power off, slide the switch to 'Off'.
1.4 Setting Date and Time
It is recommended to set the correct date and time for accurate file naming and organization. Access the settings menu using the 'MENU' button and navigate to the 'Time Settings' option. Follow the on-screen prompts to adjust the date and time.
1.5 Internal Memory
The Vormooi V65 comes with 64GB of internal memory. Please note that a portion of this memory is used by the system software, resulting in a slightly lower usable capacity than the advertised 64GB.

2. Operation
2.1 One-Click Recording
The Vormooi V65 features a dedicated recording button for quick access. To start recording, simply slide the record button upwards. The device will begin recording immediately, even if it is powered off. To stop and save the recording, slide the button downwards.

The independent recording button allows for immediate recording without powering on the device first.
2.2 Automatic Saving and File Naming
Recordings are automatically saved when the record button is slid downwards. Files are named based on the date and time of recording for easy identification.

2.3 Voice Activated Recording (V.O.R.)
The device supports voice-activated recording. When enabled, the recorder will automatically start recording when sound is detected and pause when there is no sound, conserving battery and memory. To enable or disable V.O.R., navigate to the settings menu using the 'MENU' button.
2.4 Playback
After recording, you can listen to files directly through the built-in speaker. For a better listening experience, connect the included headphones to the 3.5mm audio jack.

- Variable Speed Playback: Adjust the playback speed of recordings.

- Password Protection: Set a 4-digit password to protect your recorded data. Access this feature through the settings menu.
2.7 Connecting to a Computer
To transfer files, connect the recorder to your computer using the USB-C cable and adapter. The device will appear as a removable storage device. You can then drag and drop files between the recorder and your computer. The recorder supports MP3 and WAV audio formats.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device.

4. Troubleshooting
4.1 General Issues
- Unexpected Recordings on First Use: It is possible for a recording to be accidentally saved during manufacturing or packaging. These can be safely deleted.
- Actual Storage Space Less Than Advertised: This is normal. System software occupies a portion of the internal memory.
- Record Button Accidental Activation: The record button is designed for quick access. Be mindful of its position to prevent unintended recordings, especially when carrying the device in a pocket.
- Audio Setting Too Loud: If the default audio output is too loud, adjust the volume settings through the device's menu.
4.2 Recording Quality
To reduce background noise and improve recording quality:
- Turn off voice activation (V.O.R.) if not needed.
- Place the recorder on a stable surface to avoid friction noise.
- Keep the recorder away from noise sources like air conditioning, typing, or running computers.
- Ensure the speaker's voice is at least 20cm away from the microphone to prevent popping sounds.

4.3 Playback and File Access
- Cannot Play a File: Ensure the file format is supported (MP3, WAV, FLAC, APE, OGG, WMA). If the format is unsupported, convert the file using computer software.
- Cannot Find Recording in Voice Activated Mode: First, try switching the interface to music playback and then back to recording playback. If the issue persists, connect the device to a computer to check for disk errors or missing files.
4.4 Computer Connectivity
- Computer Not Recognizing Recorder: If your computer does not initially recognize the recorder when plugged into a USB-C port, try using a USB-A port with the provided adapter. Sometimes, connecting to a USB-A port first can resolve recognition issues for subsequent USB-C connections.
