Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the stove and all components from the storage bag.
  2. Unfold Supports: Extend the four pot support arms and the four base legs until they are fully locked into position. Ensure the stove is stable.
  3. Positioning: Place the stove on a stable, level, non-combustible surface in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from any flammable materials.
  4. Connect Fuel: Ensure the stove's control knob is in the "OFF" position. Carefully screw the gas canister onto the stove's connector until hand-tight. Do not overtighten. Check for any gas leaks by listening for a hissing sound or using a soapy water solution (bubbles indicate a leak). If a leak is detected, disconnect the canister immediately and re-check the connection.

Operating Instructions

  1. Ignition:
    • Slowly turn the control knob counter-clockwise to release a small amount of gas.
    • Immediately press the ignition button (if equipped) or use a long-stem lighter/match to ignite the gas.
    • If the stove does not ignite within a few seconds, turn the knob to "OFF", wait for gas to dissipate, and repeat the ignition process.
  2. Adjust Flame: Once ignited, adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob. Turn clockwise to decrease the flame and counter-clockwise to increase it.
  3. Cooking: Place your cooking pot or pan securely on the pot supports. Monitor your cooking and adjust the flame as needed.
  4. Shut Down: When finished cooking, turn the control knob fully clockwise to the "OFF" position until the flame extinguishes.
  5. Cool Down: Allow the stove to cool completely before handling or packing away. This may take several minutes.
  6. Disconnect Fuel: Once the stove is cool, carefully disconnect the gas canister.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, ensure the stove is completely cool. Wipe down the stove with a damp cloth to remove any food residue or grease. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the stove for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. Check the gas connection for any blockages or damage.
  • Storage: Once clean and dry, fold the stove's supports and legs. Place it back into its storage bag to protect it from dust and damage. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
  • Gas Canister: Always store gas canisters separately from the stove and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
