Setup

Operating Instructions

Boiling Water

1. Fill Kettle: Remove the lid and fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Ensure the water level is between the MIN (0.5L) and MAX (1.0L) markings. Do not overfill or underfill.
2. Place on Base: Securely place the lid back on the kettle. Position the kettle onto its power base.
3. Start Boiling: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the lever down to start the boiling process. The blue LED indicator lights will illuminate, indicating that the water is heating.
4. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches a rolling boil, and the blue LED lights will turn off.
5. Serve: Carefully lift the kettle from the base by its cool-touch handle and pour the hot water. The cordless design allows for easy serving.

Using the Tea Infuser

1. Prepare Infuser: Remove the lid and the stainless steel tea infuser. Fill the infuser with your desired amount of loose-leaf tea.
2. Insert Infuser: Place the filled infuser back into the kettle, ensuring it is properly seated.
3. Add Water: Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water to your desired level, ensuring it covers the tea infuser.
4. Boil and Steep: Place the lid back on and put the kettle on the power base. Press the lever down to boil. Once boiled, allow the tea to steep for the recommended time based on your tea type.
5. Remove Infuser: Carefully remove the lid and infuser (use caution as it will be hot).

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Daily Cleaning: After each use, unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. The glass carafe and infuser can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
• Descaling: Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle over time, especially in hard water areas. To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or boil the mixture if deposits are heavy. Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
