Setup and Initial Use

Before using your watch, familiarize yourself with the button layout and basic operations.

Button Functions:

• LIGHT (Top Left): Activates the EL backlight for a few seconds.
• MODE (Bottom Left): Cycles through different modes: Time Display, Alarm Setting, Chronograph (Stopwatch), and Countdown Timer.
• START/STOP (Top Right): Used to start/stop the chronograph, adjust values during setting, or activate/deactivate alarm.
• RESET (Bottom Right): Used to reset the chronograph, select items during setting, or switch between 12/24-hour format.

Setting Time and Date:

1. From the Time Display mode, press the MODE button three times until the seconds begin to flash. This indicates you are in time setting mode.
2. Press the RESET button to cycle through the setting options: Seconds → Hours → Minutes → Month → Date → Day of Week.
3. Use the START/STOP button to adjust the flashing value.
4. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to return to the Time Display mode.

Setting the Alarm:

1. From the Time Display mode, press the MODE button twice to enter Alarm Setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
2. Press the START/STOP button to adjust the hour.
3. Press the RESET button to select the minute digits, then use START/STOP to adjust.
4. Press the MODE button to exit Alarm Setting mode.
5. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, press and hold the START/STOP button while in Alarm Setting mode. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

Using the Chronograph (Stopwatch):

1. From the Time Display mode, press the MODE button once to enter Chronograph mode. The display will show 00:00:00.
2. Press START/STOP to begin timing.
3. Press START/STOP again to pause timing.
4. Press RESET to clear the chronograph to 00:00:00.
5. Press MODE to return to Time Display mode.

Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and performance of your SKMEI watch.

Cleaning:

• Wipe the watch case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges.
• For stainless steel bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

The watch is rated for 30 meters water resistance, suitable for daily splashes and rain.

• DO NOT press any buttons underwater.

Battery Replacement:

• The watch uses a standard watch battery (1 C battery included).
• When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery.
