Setup and Installation

The T-SUNUS Solar Landscape Spotlights offer two primary installation methods:

1. Ground Stake Installation

  1. Assemble the Stakes: Attach the ground stake to the bottom of both the solar panel unit and the spotlight unit.
  2. Position the Solar Panel: Choose a location for the solar panel that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day (6-8 hours recommended). Insert the stake firmly into the ground. Adjust the solar panel angle (up to 90 degrees) to face the sun for optimal charging.
  3. Position the Spotlight: Choose your desired location for the spotlight. Insert its stake firmly into the ground. Adjust the spotlight angle (up to 180 degrees) to illuminate the target area.
  4. Connect the Cable: Connect the extension cable from the solar panel to the spotlight. Ensure the connection is secure.

2. Wall Mount Installation

  1. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the mounting bracket of the solar panel or spotlight against the desired wall surface. Mark the positions for the screws.
  2. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions. Insert wall anchors if necessary for your wall type.
  3. Secure the Unit: Align the mounting bracket with the drilled holes and secure it with screws.
  4. Adjust and Connect: Adjust the solar panel and spotlight to their desired angles. Connect the extension cable between the solar panel and the spotlight.

Operating Instructions

  1. Initial Charge: Before first use, ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for at least 8 hours to fully charge the battery.
  2. Power On/Off: Locate the push button on the back of the spotlight. Press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds to turn the light ON or OFF.
  3. Select Lighting Mode: Once the light is ON, short press the button to cycle through the available lighting modes:
    • High Light Mode: Provides brighter illumination for approximately 8 hours on a full charge.
    • Low Light Mode: Provides softer illumination for approximately 12 hours on a full charge.
  4. Automatic Operation: The spotlights are equipped with a light sensor. They will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, provided the switch is in the ON position and the battery has sufficient charge.

Maintenance

  • Clean Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum charging efficiency.
  • Inspect Cables: Periodically check the connection cables for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.
  • Battery Longevity: The integrated battery is designed for long-term use. If the light output significantly decreases over time, it may indicate the battery is reaching the end of its lifespan. Battery replacement is not user-serviceable.
  • Environmental Conditions: While IP65 waterproof, extreme weather conditions (e.g., prolonged heavy rain, blizzards) may temporarily affect performance. Ensure the units are not submerged.
