Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, remove and empty the K-Cup pod or reusable filter. Wash the reusable filter, drip tray, and water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Brewing Chamber: Periodically wipe the inside of the brewing chamber with a damp cloth to remove any coffee residue.

Mineral deposits (scale) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale your machine every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.

  1. Empty the water reservoir.
  2. Fill the reservoir with a mixture of one part white vinegar and one part water.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Run a brew cycle (e.g., 12oz) without a K-Cup or ground coffee.
