Setup
1. Initial Placement
Place the Tone Master Pro on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
2. Power Connection
Connect the provided power cable to the unit's power input and then to a suitable AC power outlet (100-240V~50/60Hz). Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
3. Instrument Connection
Connect your guitar to the INSTRUMENT input using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
4. Output Connection
Connect the Tone Master Pro to your amplifier, PA system, or audio interface using the appropriate outputs:
- OUTPUTS (XLR/1/4-inch): For connecting to a PA system, mixer, or audio interface.
- HEADPHONE OUTPUT: For silent practice with headphones.
- USB: For connecting to a computer for firmware updates, Tone Master Pro Control App use, and audio recording.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On
Flip the power switch to the ON position. The unit will boot up and display the main interface on the 7-inch touchscreen.
2. Navigating the Touchscreen
The 7-inch color touchscreen is the primary interface for controlling the Tone Master Pro. Use touch gestures to select, drag, and adjust parameters.

3. Using Footswitches and Knobs
The Tone Master Pro features ten footswitches with LCD scribble strips above them, and two large control knobs. These allow for hands-free control during live performance or practice.
- Footswitches: Activate/deactivate effects, change presets, or control looper functions. The LCD strips display the assigned function.
- PRESET Knob: Navigate through presets and access the Big View mode.
- MASTER Knob: Controls the overall output volume and can be pressed to access the Mixer.

4. Creating and Editing Presets
The Tone Master Pro allows for extensive customization of your sound. You can chain together various amps, cabinets, and effects to create unique presets.
- Amp Modeling: Select from a wide range of classic Fender and other iconic amplifier models.
- Effect Modeling: Access a comprehensive library of overdrive, modulation, delay, reverb, and other effects.
- IR Manager: Load and manage Impulse Responses for cabinet simulation.
Use the touchscreen to drag and drop components into your signal chain. Tap on an amp or effect to adjust its parameters.

5. Song/Set List Mode
Organize your presets into song or set lists for easy access during performances. This mode streamlines your workflow and ensures smooth transitions between sounds.
6. Connecting to the Tone Master Pro Control App
For advanced control and deeper editing capabilities, download the Tone Master Pro Control App from the official Fender website. Connect your Tone Master Pro to your computer via USB to use the app.
Maintenance
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Protect the touchscreen from scratches.
- Ensure all connections are secure before and after use.
