1. Introduction

The Carlinkit 5.0 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter is designed to convert your car's existing wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto system into a wireless connection. This device offers a seamless and convenient way to access your smartphone's features on your car's infotainment screen without the need for cables. It supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, providing an enhanced driving experience with navigation, music, and communication.

4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Connect the Adapter: Plug the Carlinkit 5.0 adapter into your car's existing USB port that supports wired CarPlay or Android Auto. Use the appropriate USB cable provided (USB-A to USB-C or USB-C to USB-C). The red signal light on the adapter will illuminate.
2. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your Phone: On your iPhone (iOS 10+) or Android phone (Android 11.0+), ensure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are turned on.
3. Pair with the Adapter: Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and connect to the device named "Autokit_***".
4. Automatic Connection: After successful Bluetooth pairing, the CarPlay or Android Auto icon on your car's screen will light up. The car screen will then display the connection interface and automatically enter the wireless CarPlay or Android Auto environment.

5. Operating Instructions

Once connected, the Carlinkit 5.0 adapter allows you to use your car's original controls, including touchscreens, steering wheel buttons, and voice commands (Hey Google, Hi Siri) to interact with CarPlay or Android Auto.

5.1 Wireless CarPlay (for iPhone users)

After connecting the adapter and pairing your iPhone via Bluetooth, your car's screen will display the familiar CarPlay interface. You can access various apps such as Maps, Music, Messages, and more directly from your car's display.

5.2 Wireless Android Auto (for Android phone users)

Similarly, once your Android phone is paired, the Android Auto interface will appear on your car's screen. This allows you to use navigation, stream music, make calls, and utilize other compatible Android Auto applications.

• Cars: Original cars equipped with factory-installed wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto (model years 2016-2025).
• iPhones: iPhone 6 and above models running iOS 10 and above.

Note: This product is NOT compatible with Tesla and BMW models. HUAWEI phones may also have compatibility issues.
