1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your Globus 65-Inch 4K Interactive Display, model GSS-3230-HD. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. This display operates on 240 Volts AC power. Ensure proper grounding and ventilation. Do not expose the device to rain or moisture. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

4. Setup
4.1 Mounting the Display
The Globus Interactive Display is designed for wall mounting. Use the provided wall mount kit and follow the instructions included with the kit for secure installation. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the display.
4.2 Connecting Peripherals
Connect necessary devices using the available ports:
- HDMI: Use the HDMI cable to connect external video sources.
- USB A to B: Connect for touch functionality with an external computer.
- Ethernet: For network connectivity.
- DisplayPort: For additional video input.
The display features 7 total USB ports for connecting various accessories.
4.3 Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the display and then to a grounded AC power outlet (240V). The power source should be AC. The display consumes 250 Watts.

5. Operating the Display
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power button, typically located on the front or side bezel, to turn the display on or off. The device interface is primarily controlled via buttons.
5.2 Interactive Touch Functionality
The display features an infrared touch screen with 20-point multi-touch capability and a response time of less than 8 milliseconds. Use your finger or the provided stylus for interaction.

5.3 Android Operating System
The display runs on Android 11, powered by a Quad-Core 1.9GHz processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. This allows for direct installation and use of Android applications.
5.4 Whiteboard Interactive Software
The display includes inbuilt whiteboard software for teaching and training. Features include adjustable pen thickness, various colors, pixel and region erasers, and shapes (circle, triangle, rectangle, arrows).

5.5 Display Features
The display offers a High-Res 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It features IPS DLED display technology with a 178-degree viewing angle, 400 lm brightness, and a 1100:1 contrast ratio. The 4mm tempered AG glass has an anti-glare coating.

5.6 Audio
Built-in stereo speakers provide 20W x 2 audio output.
5.7 Eye Protection Mode
The display includes an eye-protection mode designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Display
To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a screen-cleaning solution specifically designed for electronic displays, applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. The anti-glare coating and tempered glass require careful handling.
6.2 General Care
Keep the display in a well-ventilated area. Avoid blocking ventilation openings. Do not place heavy objects on the display. Protect the display from extreme temperatures and humidity.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
7.1 No Power
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the display and a working power outlet.
- Check if the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
- Verify the power switch on the display is in the 'On' position.
7.2 No Display/Black Screen
- Confirm the display is powered on.
- Check all video input cables (HDMI, DisplayPort) are securely connected to both the display and the source device.
- Ensure the correct input source is selected on the display.
- Test with a different video cable or source device if possible.
7.3 Touch Functionality Not Working
- If connected to an external PC, ensure the USB A to B cable is properly connected.
- Restart the display and the connected device.
- Ensure there are no obstructions on the display bezel that might interfere with the infrared touch sensors.
