3. Getting Started (Setup)

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity.
  2. Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface, such as a kitchen countertop. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space around the unit (at least 4 inches on top, sides, and back).
  3. Do not block air vents.
  4. Ensure the power cord is easily accessible.

3.2 Turntable Installation

The glass turntable and turntable ring are essential for even cooking. Ensure they are correctly placed before operating the microwave.

  1. Place the turntable ring securely in the center of the oven cavity.
  2. Position the glass turntable on top of the ring, ensuring it sits properly on the center support.

4. Operating Your Microwave

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The microwave features an intuitive control panel with an LED display and various function buttons.

4.2 Setting the Clock

  1. Press the 'Clock' button.
  2. Use the number pads to enter the current time.
  3. Press 'Clock' again to confirm.

4.3 Basic Microwave Cooking

To cook food using a specific time and power level:

  1. Place food in the microwave.
  2. Press the 'Time Cook' button.
  3. Enter the desired cooking time using the number pads.
  4. Press the 'Power' button.
  5. Enter the desired power level (1-10) using the number pads.
  6. Press 'Start' to begin cooking.

4.4 Express Cooking

For quick cooking, press any number pad from 1 to 6 for instant cooking at 100% power for that many minutes (e.g., press '1' for 1 minute, '2' for 2 minutes).

4.5 One-Touch Auto Cook Menus

The microwave includes convenient one-touch settings for common food items:

  • Popcorn: For automatic popcorn preparation.
  • Baked Potato: Optimized for baking potatoes.
  • Pizza: For reheating or cooking pizza.
  • Beverage: Ideal for heating drinks.
  • Dinner Plate: For reheating a full dinner plate.
  • Frozen Vegetable: Pre-programmed for frozen vegetables.

Simply press the corresponding button for the desired food item. The microwave will automatically set the appropriate cooking time and power level.

4.6 Defrost Functions

The microwave offers two defrost options:

  • Weight Defrost: Press 'Weight Defrost', enter the food's weight using the number pads, then press 'Start'.
  • Time Defrost: Press 'Time Defrost', enter the desired defrosting time, then press 'Start'.

4.7 Reheat Function

Use the 'Reheat' button for quick and efficient reheating of various dishes.

4.8 Child Lock

To activate the child lock, press and hold the 'Stop/Cancel' button for 3 seconds. The lock indicator will appear on the display. To deactivate, press and hold 'Stop/Cancel' again for 3 seconds.

5. Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your microwave oven.

5.1 Cleaning the Interior

  • Wipe the oven cavity with a damp cloth after each use. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent.
  • The glass turntable and turntable ring can be removed and washed in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
  • Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.

5.2 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Oven not starting: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into an electrical outlet. Ensure the door is closed properly. Check your household fuse or circuit breaker.

  • Display not working: Unplug the microwave for a few minutes, then plug it back in to reset the control panel.
