Maintenance
- Cleaning the Barrel: Thoroughly clean the tumbler barrel after each cycle to prevent grit contamination between stages. Use soap and water, and ensure all grit is removed.
- Motor Base Care: Avoid direct contact with water for the motor base. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
- Belt Inspection: Periodically check the drive belt for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary to maintain optimal performance.
Troubleshooting
- Tumbler not running: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the motor base and a working power outlet. Verify the tumbler barrel is correctly placed on the rollers.
- Excessive noise: Check that the tumbler barrel is securely sealed. Ensure no foreign objects are inside the unit. Place the motor base on a stable, level surface to minimize vibration.
- Rocks not polishing as expected: Verify that the correct grit is being used for the current cycle. Ensure sufficient tumbling time is allocated for each stage. Check that water levels are appropriate (just covering the rocks).
