5. Setup & Installation

- Indoor Monitor: Mount the indoor monitor on a wall at a convenient height within your home. Ensure it is within reach of a power outlet.
5.3. Tuya App Setup
The system integrates with the Tuya Smart app for remote control and monitoring.

- Download the free "Tuya Smart" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Register or log in to your Tuya account.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your FTes RFKits V70 video intercom system. This typically involves putting the indoor monitor into pairing mode and connecting it to your home Wi-Fi network.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Answering a Call
When a visitor presses the call button on the outdoor unit, the indoor monitor will ring and display the visitor's video feed.
- Press the Answer/Return button on the indoor monitor to speak with the visitor.
- To end the call, press the Answer/Return button again.
6.2. Two-Way Audio & Unlocking

- During a call, you can speak to the visitor and hear their response.
- If an electronic lock is connected, press the Unlock button on the indoor monitor to remotely open the door.
6.3. Remote Access via Tuya App

- When a visitor calls, you will receive a notification on your smartphone via the Tuya app.
- Open the app to view the live video feed, speak to the visitor, and remotely unlock the door from anywhere with an internet connection.
6.4. Monitoring
- Press the Monitor button on the indoor unit to view the live feed from the outdoor camera at any time.
6.5. Video Recording & Playback

- Insert a TF card (not included) into the indoor monitor's TF card slot to enable video recording.
- The system can automatically record video when motion is detected or when a visitor calls.
- Access recorded videos and snapshots through the indoor monitor's menu or the Tuya app.
6.6. Night Vision & PIR Motion Detection

- The outdoor unit automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white video.
- PIR motion detection triggers recording and notifications when movement is detected in the camera's field of view.
6.7. Do Not Disturb Mode
- Activate the "Do Not Disturb" mode from the indoor monitor's settings to silence the ringtone for a specified period. You will still receive notifications on the Tuya app.
