2. Sensor and Magnet Installation
Proper placement of the sensor and magnet is crucial for accurate readings.
- Sensor Placement: Attach the speed sensor to the front fork of your bicycle using the provided cable ties. The sensor should be positioned on the side of the fork closest to the wheel spokes.
- Magnet Placement: Attach the magnet to a spoke on the front wheel. The flat side of the magnet must face the sensor.
- Distance Requirement: The distance between the magnet and the sensor should be approximately 3 mm. Closer is better for optimal signal detection. Ensure the magnet aligns with the sensor's detection area (usually marked).
- Sensor-to-Computer Distance: The distance between the sensor and the bicycle computer should not exceed 50 cm for reliable signal reception.

The rightmost value transitions to the next parameter. Use the left button to select the value and the right button to confirm.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Speed is always 0 during riding. | Incorrect distance or angle between magnet and sensor. | Adjust the magnet and sensor to be within 3mm and properly aligned. Refer to "Sensor and Magnet Installation". |
| Speed value does not match actual speed. | Incorrect wheel circumference setting. | Ensure the wheel circumference is correctly set in the configuration mode. Refer to your bicycle's tire specifications or a wheel circumference chart. |
| Slow response. | Poor installation or low battery. | Check sensor/magnet alignment. Replace batteries if necessary. |
| Black screen. | Operating below 0 degrees Celsius. | The screen will return to normal once the temperature rises. |
| Gray screen. | Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. | The screen will return to normal after being in the shade for some time. Pause for 10 seconds and resume. |
| Slow touch response. | Heavy rain or strong storms. | In heavy rain, the touch function may automatically activate a water clearing feature on the touch area surface. This is normal. |
