5. Safety Precautions
- This module is designed for DC 6.5~100V power systems only. Do not use with AC power or outside the specified DC voltage range.
- Ensure the applied load does not exceed the rated power of the meter (100A, 10kW).
- Verify wiring order carefully to prevent damage to the device or system. Incorrect wiring can lead to malfunction or hazards.
- This module is suitable for indoor applications only. Avoid outdoor use to protect against environmental elements.
6. Product Overview and Button Functions
The meter features a single button for controlling various functions:
- Backlight Control: A short press of the button toggles the blue backlight on or off.
- Data Clear: To clear the accumulated energy data (kWh), press and hold the button for 5 seconds until the display flashes. Then, short press the button again to confirm and clear the data.
- Power Alarm Value Setting: To set the power alarm limit, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The display will flash, allowing you to adjust the power limit. Short press to cycle through values, long press to confirm.

7. Installation
7.1. Wiring Instructions
The meter requires a 100A current shunt for current measurement. The shunt must be placed in the circuit, and the meter connects to the shunt and the power source. The meter does not come with wires; 30AWG to 12AWG copper wires are suitable for connecting the meter.

Step 1: Place the Shunt in the Circuit
The shunt can be connected on either the positive or negative side of the load. Ensure the main current flows through the shunt.
- Type A (Shunt on Negative Side): Connect the DC 5-100V power source positive to the load positive. Connect the DC 5-100V power source negative to one side of the shunt. Connect the other side of the shunt to the load negative.
- Type B (Shunt on Positive Side): Connect the DC 5-100V power source negative to the load negative. Connect the DC 5-100V power source positive to one side of the shunt. Connect the other side of the shunt to the load positive.

Step 2: Connect the Meter with 4 Wires (Not Included)
Connect the four wires from the meter's terminal block to the shunt and the DC input as follows:
- Connect the red wire (positive power for meter) to the positive terminal of the DC 5-100V power source.
- Connect the black wire (negative power for meter) to the negative terminal of the DC 5-100V power source.
- Connect the yellow wire (voltage sense) to the positive side of the shunt (or the positive side of the load, depending on shunt placement).
- Connect the green wire (current sense) to the negative side of the shunt (or the negative side of the load, depending on shunt placement).
Important Notes:
- No large current should flow through the meter's small wires; only the shunt handles the main current.
- The shunt cannot be placed on the positive side if the meter's power supply shares the same ground as the load. Connect it near the battery negative or load negative for convenience.
- Always cut off power before wiring. Connect the blue and red lines first, then the yellow and green lines.
- Zero current issues are often caused by incorrect wiring. Connect a simple battery-shunt-load circuit to test the meter first.
- All "888s" display issues are typically caused by interference from the load.
7.2. Monitoring RV Battery
The meter can be used to monitor RV battery performance. The 4 wires connected to the meter can be any copper wire from 30AWG to 12AWG.

- If you only want to monitor charging performance, use wiring configuration #2.
- If you only want to monitor discharging performance, use wiring configuration #3.
- To monitor both charging and discharging performance, wire both meters on one shunt.
7.3. Solar System Wiring Instruction
This diagram illustrates wiring for a solar system where the inverter connects directly to the battery. The meter does not include wires; 30AWG to 12AWG copper wires are suitable.

- Meter #1: Monitors the performance of solar power production.
- Meter #2: Monitors charging performance. When the battery is discharging, Meter #2 displays zero current and power readings. Energy accumulation stops during discharge.
- Meter #3: Monitors discharging performance. When the battery is charging, Meter #3 displays zero current and power readings. Energy accumulation stops during charge.
- Meter #4: Measures the load usage.
8. Operation
Once correctly installed and powered, the meter will display real-time voltage, current, power, and accumulated energy. Use the single button on the front panel to control the backlight, reset energy data, or set alarm limits as described in Section 6.
9. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
- Avoid exposing the meter to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage or injury.
- Regularly check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
10. Troubleshooting
- No Display: Check power connections to the meter. Ensure the DC input voltage is within the 6.5V to 100V range.
- Incorrect Readings: Verify all wiring, especially the sense wires to the shunt. Ensure the shunt is correctly installed in the main current path.
- "888s" Display: This indicates potential interference. Check for stable power supply and proper grounding. Ensure the meter's small wires are not carrying high current.
- Energy Data Not Resetting: Follow the data clear procedure (long press for 5 seconds, then short press) carefully.
- Backlight Issues: Use a short press of the button to toggle the backlight. If it remains off, check power supply.
