Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
  2. Slide the battery cover open.
  3. Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.
  5. Turn the mouse on using the power switch located on the bottom.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

The HP 420 mouse supports pairing with up to three devices.

  1. Ensure the mouse is powered on.
  2. Press the Bluetooth pairing button on the top of the mouse (often indicated by a Bluetooth icon and numbers 1, 2, 3) to select an available channel (e.g., 1). The LED indicator for the selected channel will blink.

  4. For Windows devices, if Microsoft Swift Pair is enabled, a notification may appear to connect the mouse. Click to connect.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Use

  • Left Click: Primary selection and activation.
  • Right Click: Accesses contextual menus.

3. Multi-Device Switching

To switch between paired devices:
