4. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, ensure to remove any protective film covering the charging contacts on the earbuds. Fully charge the earbuds and the charging case for optimal performance.

• Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated to make contact with the charging pins.
• Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
• The charging case features a dual digital display, showing the charging status of each earbud (L/R) and the overall battery percentage of the case.
• A full charge for the earbuds takes approximately 1.5 hours. The charging case provides up to 4 additional charges, extending total playtime.

5. Wearing the Earbuds

5.1. Sports Wearing (with Earhooks)

For activities like running, gym workouts, or any movement where extra security is desired, use the earbuds with the earhooks attached.

1. Choose the right ear tips for a comfortable seal.
2. Ensure the earhooks are securely attached to the earbuds.
3. Place the earbud into your ear canal and adjust the earhook over your ear until it feels comfortable and secure.

5.2. Daily Wearing (without Earhooks)

For casual listening, gaming, or music enjoyment, the earhooks can be detached for a more compact in-ear fit.

1. Gently detach the earhooks from the earbuds.
2. Select the appropriate ear tips for a snug and comfortable fit.
3. Insert the earbud into your ear canal and slightly twist to secure it in place.

6. Pairing and Connectivity

The APEKX earbuds offer seamless Bluetooth connectivity with your devices.

1. Initial Pairing:
   • Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
   • On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to Bluetooth settings.
   • Search for "APEKX BE1043" (or similar name) in the list of available devices and select it to connect.
   • Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the earbuds will be ready for use.
2. Automatic Reconnection: After the initial pairing, the earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when taken out of the charging case, provided Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
3. Single Earbud Use: Either earbud can be used independently. Simply take one earbud out of the case, and it will connect.

• Signature Sound: The default EQ setting, providing a well-balanced audio profile suitable for most music genres.
• Bass Mode: Enhances bass frequencies, ideal for bass-heavy music and genres like hip-hop or electronic dance music.
• Podcast Mode: Optimizes vocal clarity, making voices stand out clearly for podcasts, audiobooks, and calls.

To switch between EQ modes, tap either earbud three times.

10. Troubleshooting

• Earbuds not charging:
  • Ensure the protective film on the earbud charging contacts has been removed.
  • Verify the earbuds are correctly seated in the charging case.
  • Check if the charging cable and power source are working correctly.
• Earbuds not pairing/connecting:
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Ensure the earbuds are fully charged.
  • Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on.
  • Forget the device ("APEKX BE1043") from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to re-pair.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open it again to reset.
• No sound or low volume:
  • Adjust the volume on both your earbuds and your connected device.
  • Ensure the earbuds are properly connected to your device.
  • Clean any debris from the earbud speaker mesh.
• One earbud not working:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place both earbuds back in the case, close the lid, and reopen to re-establish connection.
