Setup (Installation)

The WEELMOTO Headlight Assembly features a plug-and-play design for straightforward installation.

  1. Preparation: Park your vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Open the hood.
  2. Disconnect Battery: Disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery to prevent electrical shorts.
  3. Remove Old Headlight: Locate the screws or clips securing the existing headlight assembly. Typically, there are two screws and two slides. Carefully remove these fasteners.
  4. Disconnect Wiring: Gently pull the old headlight assembly forward. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the bulbs (high/low beam and turn signal).
  5. Transfer Bulbs: If your new assembly does not come with bulbs, carefully remove the stock HB5 (high/low beam) and 3157A (turn signal) bulbs from your old assembly and install them into the new WEELMOTO assembly. Ensure they are seated correctly.
  6. Connect New Headlight: Connect the electrical connectors to the corresponding bulbs on the new WEELMOTO headlight assembly.
  7. Install New Headlight: Slide the new headlight assembly into place, ensuring it aligns with the mounting points. Secure it with the screws or clips removed earlier.
  8. Adjust Beams: The headlight assembly includes adjustable beams for vertical adjustment. After installation, it is recommended to perform a headlight alignment to ensure proper beam direction.
  9. Reconnect Battery: Reconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.
  10. Test Functionality: Turn on your vehicle's lights (low beam, high beam, turn signals) to ensure all functions are working correctly.

Operating

Once installed, the WEELMOTO Headlight Assembly operates identically to your vehicle's original headlights.

The assembly features a one-way vent designed to prevent condensation; however, extreme temperature changes can sometimes cause temporary fogging. If persistent condensation occurs, ensure the vent is clear and properly sealed.
  • Bulb Replacement: If a bulb fails, replace it with a compatible stock HB5 or 3157A bulb as needed.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Headlights not turning on.

  • Solution: Check the electrical connections to ensure they are secure. Verify that the bulbs are correctly installed and not burnt out. Check the vehicle's fuses related to the headlights.

Issue: Dim or flickering lights.

  • Solution: Inspect bulb connections for corrosion or looseness. Ensure the vehicle's charging system is functioning correctly.

Issue: Condensation inside the lens.

  • Solution: Small amounts of temporary condensation can occur due to temperature changes and usually dissipate. Ensure the one-way vent is not blocked. If condensation is persistent or excessive, check for cracks in the housing or improper sealing.
