Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your backup camera:

  1. Mounting the Camera: Choose a suitable location for the camera (rear, front, or side). Use the provided metal holder and accessories to securely mount the camera. The camera's lens can be rotated 360 degrees and adjusted vertically by 45 degrees using the mini wrench to achieve the best viewing angle.
  2. Wiring for Head Unit (with Trigger Wire):
    • Connect the camera's 4-pin connector to the video cable.
    • Connect the black wire (GND) of the power cable to a vehicle ground point.
    • Connect the red wire (positive) of the power cable to a 12V power source, such as the reversing light positive, brake light positive, turning light positive, or ACC (Accessory) power.
    • Connect the video cable's trigger wire (C) to the head unit's trigger wire (A).
  3. Wiring for Monitor (without Trigger Wire):
    • Connect the camera's 4-pin connector to the video cable.
    • Connect the black wire (GND) of the power cable to a vehicle ground point.
    • Connect the red wire (positive) of the power cable to a 12V power source (reversing light positive, brake light positive, turning light positive, or ACC).
    • For normal mirror monitors or TFT monitors, the trigger detection cable is not required.
  4. Dynamic Trajectory Guide Line Control: To disable the dynamic trajectory guide lines, locate the green switcher cable on the camera's wiring harness and cut it. Reconnect the power supply after cutting any cable for changes to take effect. The guide lines can be re-enabled by reconnecting the cut cable if desired.
