2. Setup Guide
2.1 Package Contents
Before starting, verify that all components are present in the package:

2.2 Drone Assembly and Battery Installation
- Unfold the Drone Arms: Gently unfold the drone's arms until they click into place. The S2S drone features a convenient folding design for portability.

- Charge the Battery: Connect the charging cable to the battery and a suitable USB power source. The battery indicator lights will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 25 minutes of flight time.
2.3 Remote Control Setup
The remote control is designed for intuitive operation. Familiarize yourself with its layout:

2.4 App Installation and Connection
Download the official GoolRC S2S app from your smartphone's app store (refer to the included APP Manual for QR codes or direct links). Follow the in-app instructions to connect your drone to your smartphone via Wi-Fi for real-time transmission and access to intelligent flight modes.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Pre-Flight Checks
- Ensure drone and remote control batteries are fully charged.
- Verify propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
- Choose an open area free from obstacles, people, and animals.
- Check weather conditions; avoid flying in strong winds or rain.
- Power on the drone first, then the remote control.
- Connect the drone to the app on your smartphone.
3.2 Take-off and Landing
- One-Click Take-off: After calibration, press the one-click take-off button on the remote control or in the app. The drone will automatically ascend to a safe hovering altitude.

- Manual Take-off: Alternatively, push both control sticks down and outwards to arm the motors, then slowly push the left stick (throttle) upwards to ascend.
- One-Click Landing: Press the one-click landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land gently.
- Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left stick (throttle) downwards until the drone lands. Once landed, push both control sticks down and inwards to disarm the motors.
3.3 Flight Controls (Remote Controller)
- Left Stick (Throttle/Yaw):
- Up/Down: Ascend/Descend
- Left/Right: Rotate drone left/right (Yaw)
- Right Stick (Forward/Backward/Side Fly):
- Up/Down: Fly forward/backward
- Left/Right: Fly left/right (Sideways)
- Speed Switching: Use the dedicated button on the remote to switch between different flight speeds (e.g., low, medium, high) for varying control responsiveness.
3.4 Camera Operation
The GoolRC S2S drone is equipped with a 4K dual camera system, allowing for versatile photo and video capture.

- Switching Cameras: Use the dedicated button on the remote or within the app to switch between the front 4K camera and the bottom optical flow camera.
- Camera Angle Adjustment: The 4K camera features 90° angle control and a 120° wide-angle lens. Adjust the camera angle using the designated buttons on the remote control (Lens Up/Down).
- Taking Photos/Videos: Press the Photo/Video button on the remote control to capture images or start/stop video recording.
- Gesture Photo/Video: While the drone is in the air, make specific hand gestures towards the drone's camera to trigger photo or video capture. Refer to the APP Manual for specific gestures.

3.5 Intelligent Flight Modes
- Altitude Hold Mode: The drone maintains a stable altitude, allowing you to focus on directional control and camera operation.
- Headless Mode: In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, eliminating the need to adjust its position before flying.
- 360° Omnidirectional Obstacle Avoidance: The drone is equipped with sensors that detect obstacles in all directions, automatically adjusting its flight path to avoid collisions.

- Optical Flow Positioning: This feature uses a downward-facing camera to analyze ground patterns, providing stable hovering and precise positioning, especially in indoor environments or areas with weak GPS signals.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your GoolRC S2S Drone.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for cracks, bends, or damage. Replace any damaged propellers immediately using the provided spare parts and screwdriver.
