6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your XGP Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the headset unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Water Resistance: The headset has an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While it is designed to resist rain, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed when not charging.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Charging: Charge the battery fully before long periods of storage to maintain battery health. Use the provided USB-C cable for charging.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your XGP Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • No Power: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the headset to a power source using the USB-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Cannot Pair: Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (rapidly flashing indicator light). Turn off and restart both the headset and your Bluetooth device. Clear previous Bluetooth connections on your device and try pairing again.
  • Poor Audio Quality/Noise: Check the speaker and microphone placement inside the helmet. Ensure the microphone is close to your mouth and not obstructed. The DSP/CVC noise cancellation works best when the microphone is correctly positioned.
  • Intercom Disconnection: Ensure both headsets are within the 1200m range and have sufficient battery. Try re-pairing the intercom connection.
  • Buttons Unresponsive: Try resetting the device (refer to the full user manual for specific reset instructions if available, or power cycle the device).

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact XGP customer support for further assistance.
