Setup
1. Base Station Placement
Place the base station on a hard, level surface against a wall, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front of it and 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) on either side. Connect the power cord to the base station and plug it into a power outlet.
2. Initial Charging & Water Tank Setup
Open the top cover of the base station. Fill the clean water tank with clean water and, if desired, add the recommended cleaning solution. Ensure the dirty water tank is empty. Insert a dust collection bag into the designated slot. Place the robot onto the base station for its initial charge.

3. App Download & Mapping
Download the DREAME Home app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot. Once connected, initiate a mapping run to allow the robot to create a detailed map of your home. This map is crucial for efficient navigation and customized cleaning.

Operating Instructions
Cleaning Modes
The DREAME L20 Ultra supports various cleaning modes:
- Vacuum Only: Ideal for carpets and dry debris.
- Mop Only: For hard floors requiring wet cleaning.
- Vacuum and Mop: Simultaneous cleaning for mixed surfaces.
MopExtend Technology
The MopExtend feature allows the robot to automatically extend its mop pads to reach edges and corners, ensuring thorough cleaning in areas typically missed by standard robot vacuums.

AI Obstacle Avoidance
Equipped with Pathfinder Smart Navigation and 3D Structured Light Obstacle Avoidance, the robot can recognize up to 55 different object types, navigating around them to prevent collisions and ensure continuous cleaning.

Carpet Detection & Mop Removal
The L20 Ultra features advanced ultrasonic carpet detection. When a carpet is detected, the robot can automatically return to the base station to remove its mop pads, preventing carpets from getting wet during vacuuming. Alternatively, it can raise its mop pads by 10.5mm for low-pile carpets.

Voice Control
Integrate your DREAME L20 Ultra with smart home assistants like Amazon Echo or Google Home for convenient voice-activated commands. Simply say the word to start, stop, or pause cleaning.

Maintenance
Automatic Base Station Maintenance
The base station is designed for minimal manual intervention. It automatically empties the robot's dustbin into a 3.2L dust bag (up to 75 days capacity), washes the mop pads, and dries them with warm air after cleaning. It also self-refills the robot's water tank and adds cleaning solution.
Changing the Dust Bag
When the dust bag is full, the app will notify you. To replace it, open the top cover of the base station, pull the lever to seal the bag, and remove it. Insert a new dust bag and push the lever back into place.

Cleaning the Roller Brush
Regularly check and clean the main roller brush to remove tangled hair or debris. The liftable rubber brush design makes detangling easier.
Mop Pad Care
While the base station self-cleans and dries the mop pads, it is recommended to periodically remove and hand-wash the mop pads for deeper cleaning, especially after heavy use.
Troubleshooting
