Setup Instructions
1. Charging the Keyboard
Before first use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the keyboard's charging port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
2. Attaching Your iPad
Align your iPad Pro 12.9-inch with the magnetic back panel of the case. The powerful N52H magnets will securely snap the iPad into place. Ensure the camera cutout aligns correctly.

3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the keyboard by pressing the power button (usually located on the side or top edge of the keyboard). The Bluetooth indicator light will start blinking.
- On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Turn on Bluetooth. Your iPad will search for available devices.
- Select "ESSAGER Keyboard" (or similar name) from the list of devices.
- If prompted, enter the pairing code displayed on your iPad screen using the keyboard and press Enter.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain solid, indicating a successful connection.
Operating Instructions
Adjusting Viewing Angle
The case features a 0-130° stepless adjustment mechanism. Gently push or pull the iPad screen to achieve your desired viewing angle for various tasks like typing, drawing, or watching videos.
Using the Multi-touch Trackpad
The integrated trackpad supports standard multi-touch gestures for iPadOS. Refer to your iPad's settings for a full list of supported gestures. Common gestures include:
- Single finger tap: Click/Select
- Two-finger scroll: Scroll up/down/left/right
- Pinch to zoom: Zoom in/out
- Swipe up with three fingers: Go to Home Screen
- Swipe left/right with three fingers: Switch between open apps
Adjusting Keyboard Backlight
Press the dedicated backlight key (often indicated by a light bulb icon) to cycle through the three brightness levels or turn the backlight off. The backlight is white only.
Power Management
The keyboard features an intelligent standby mode to conserve battery. To manually power off the keyboard, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the indicator lights turn off. To power on, press and hold the power button until the indicator lights illuminate.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the case. For the keyboard, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
