Product Overview

The Jata JELI1580 juicer efficiently extracts juice from fruits and vegetables, shown here preparing fresh orange juice.
The Jata JELI1580 juicer is designed to extract fresh juice from various fruits and vegetables quickly and efficiently. Its stainless steel construction ensures durability and an elegant finish suitable for any kitchen. Key features include two speed settings plus a pulse function, a wide feeding chute, and an anti-drip system for clean operation.
Setup and Assembly
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components are present: motor unit, lid, food pusher, stainless steel filter, juice jug (450 ml), and pulp container (1500 ml).
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all removable parts (lid, food pusher, filter, juice jug, pulp container) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The motor unit should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Assemble the Juicer:
- Place the pulp container onto the motor unit.
- Carefully insert the stainless steel filter into the motor unit, ensuring it sits firmly.
- Position the lid onto the motor unit, aligning it correctly.
- Secure the locking arm by lifting it and hooking it over the lid. The juicer will not operate unless the locking arm is properly engaged.
- Place the juice jug under the juice spout.
- Insert the food pusher into the feeding chute.

The juicer fully assembled and ready for operation in a kitchen environment.
Operating Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. For larger items, cut them into pieces that easily fit the 7 cm wide feeding chute. Remove any hard seeds, pits, or thick peels (e.g., pineapple, melon).
- Connect Power: Ensure the juicer is correctly assembled and the locking arm is engaged. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
- Position Juice Jug: Place the juice jug directly under the anti-drip juice spout.
- Select Speed: Turn the control dial to the desired speed setting:
- Speed 1: Ideal for softer fruits and vegetables such as berries, grapes, tomatoes, and oranges.
- Speed 2: Recommended for harder fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, and celery.
- Pulse (P): Provides short bursts of maximum power (13,000 rpm) for processing tough ingredients or clearing minor blockages. Release the dial to return to '0'.
- Juicing: With the motor running, gradually feed the prepared ingredients into the feeding chute using the food pusher. Apply gentle, even pressure. Do not force ingredients, as this can strain the motor.
- Anti-Drip System: The juicer features an anti-drip spout. To prevent drips after juicing, simply push the spout upwards to close it.
- Finish Juicing: Once all ingredients are processed, turn the control dial to the '0' (off) position and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

The wide 7 cm feeding chute allows for easy insertion of fruits and vegetables.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your juicer. The Jata JELI1580 is designed for easy disassembly and cleaning.
- Disassembly: Ensure the juicer is unplugged. Release the locking arm, then remove the lid, food pusher, stainless steel filter, juice jug, and pulp container.
- Cleaning Removable Parts: Wash all removable parts (lid, food pusher, filter, juice jug, pulp container) immediately after use. This prevents pulp from drying and sticking, making cleaning easier. Use warm, soapy water and a soft brush for the stainless steel filter to remove all pulp residue. Rinse thoroughly.
- Cleaning Motor Unit: Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
- Dishwasher Safety: The Jata JELI1580 juicer parts are NOT dishwasher safe. Hand wash only.
- Drying and Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the juicer. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

The stainless steel filter requires thorough cleaning after each use to maintain juicing efficiency.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Jata JELI1580 juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Appliance does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Ensure the locking arm is correctly engaged and the lid is properly secured. The juicer has a safety interlock system that prevents operation if not assembled correctly.
- Low juice yield or excessive wet pulp:
- Ensure ingredients are fresh and firm. Overripe or soft fruits may yield less juice.
- Use the appropriate speed setting for the type of fruit or vegetable (Speed 1 for soft, Speed 2 for hard).
- Clean the stainless steel filter thoroughly. A clogged filter can significantly reduce juicing efficiency.
- Feed ingredients gradually and do not overload the juicer.
- Motor smells burnt or stops during operation:
- This can occur if the appliance is overloaded or used continuously for too long without a break.
- Immediately turn off the juicer, unplug it, and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
- Reduce the amount of ingredients processed at once and feed them more slowly.
- If the issue persists after cooling and reducing load, contact customer support.
- Excessive vibrations or loud noise:
- Ensure the juicer is assembled correctly and all parts, especially the filter, are securely in place.
- Place the juicer on a stable, flat, and level surface during operation.
